Andy had some good news, he has spotted 2 cars in the auction and states "At worst you will have one of the cars, at best you can choose from both.

No car...yet more broken promises

Waiting 3 weeks for the promised 307 SW on the 4th Dec and have been told it is not suitable.
Although I am hearing this from Trading Standards as Warren at the Garage is not returning my calls, even though it told the reception he will and also told Trading Standard I will get a call latest on Sat.

Will santa bring the car or will it role into next year!

2 dangling carrot later - No after care at all !

EvansHellshaw have received the first letter from Trading standards.
Came in the first time to see Andy, for an exchange, we decided a like for like
Andy show me a selection of Cars, I choose one a Zafia 04 and he went to the Auction to buy it.
But it was damaged (must be a quality auction)
He choose another car another Zafia 04 and was going to the auction on 19th Nov to buy it, but when I phoned up he was on Holiday and I was given the run round for 2 days.

Now I am back dealing with Stuart and have been given the same nonsense about I can not have the Zafia unless it is a 02 reg which is worth £4,494 that is a loss of over £4K

Stuart has said they can not get a car until the 4th Dec 2 weeks away, and I believe that will come and go with this car have problems
Warren has got to get a grip at the garage and the service engineers are good to deal with, even though they can not fix the problems, but the sale guys have no after service Care at ALL.

I am having to lend a car of my dad at the weekend and I am staying over at work (Etap hotel at £32 a night) rather than commuting every day as I have no transport.
I can not afford to buy another car while I am paying for this car to sit on my Drive and fund the EvansHellShaw Holidays.

This time 3 weeks in the garage and no solution

The cars been in the garage 3 weeks today.
Last week I phoned and checked on the status and the result was they are going to get Peugoet to give them advice this week.

Trading standard have adviced me to take the car back and they will write a letter to claim another car.
So I pickup the car on the 31 Oct and will wait for a Car.
I have been promised a car from them a couple of weeks ago, but they can't seem to find a car.
I am dealing with Stuart who is totally commision based and doesn't give a damn about customer service.
Spoke to Warren and assured me that he will assign Andy to sort it out and make sure my new car is spot on!
I hope this can be done!

Well it wasn't the EGV valve....after 10 days

They tested the car over the weekend and it failed, the "Anti pollution" light came on again, lucky the their testing is getting better!

The car has been 10 days in the garage and can not be fixed, what will be the cause of the fault next week.

Trading Standard are going to represent me in the case and have been building up a case from the notes.

Also the instruction for dealing with the EGV valve (it's a bit like do CTRL ALT DEL on a PC)

28 day later .....Call that an offer

28 later, that how long my car has been in the garage (and counting) ......
And the sales guy wants me to put my hand in my pocket and pay for a downgrade on a car!
On top of that he wants me to refinance the whole deal to earn more commision.

Contacted the manager today

Got in touch with the manager today, It took a while as noone knew who was the manager, lucky he joined 4 days ago!

The whole setup is so removed from the real world, Servicing and Sales don't talk to each other and they have managers alright, but ONLY of their department.

They needs to be a proper manager who can talk to sales and servicing.
As I get the service manager phone me up and ask if I've sorted out an exchange and I get the Salesmanager asking if the car is sorted, I guess it doesn't help that they have put the sales guys up in a portacabin in the yard (I must post a pic, as it is radicular)

Anyway.....
Gary phoned today with an update on the car, it is fixed and will test this weekend.
Also surprise call from Stuart the salesman, some excuse about not being able to find a car for me.
I have arranged to go in tommorrow, he is full of promises.
He has not found a car for me yet! Yet it takes a moment to sell the car to someone.
I guess this guy does not like the aftersales service that comes with the job.
